At the moment, there are three major themes of my research:
(1) speech prosody: tone, intonation, tone-intonation interaction, syntax-prosody interface, intonation phonology of English, rhythm, etc.;
(2) speech technology: TTS, ASR;
(3) facilitating research: by providing concepts, methods, and tools to enpower fellow researchers.
I am also sometimes involved in L2 research.
